Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were in serious need of updating but the receptionist kindly offered a makeover during our stay. The service was fantastic with friendly and efficient staff, although a new bed was needed. The location was great, centrally situated with private parking, but the room's proximity to an air vent kept us awake at night. The dining experience felt more like a local café rather than a hotel restaurant. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel had v good breakfast and lovely staff with many thanks to all.
I felt like the hotel had a few things going for it, but there were also some areas that could use improvement. The location was nice, and the staff was friendly and approachable. However, the rooms needed some fixing up, and it wasn't the easiest for my mom to get to our room.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was excellent, right in the center of Mullingar town with happy and welcoming employees that truly went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms, however, were in need of upgrading and were located on the 1st floor right above the entrance to the hotel, near a ballroom. The dining was average, with good options but lacked a special touch for hotel guests. The service was a standout, with extremely nice staff who went well beyond their call of duty to assist us, although there were some acknowledged issues.
The hotel provided a mixed experience with dark, dingy, and uncomfortable rooms that were overpriced for what was offered. However, the service was outstanding with staff going above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay. The location was fantastic, right in the center of town, but the dining experience left much to be desired.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and well-stocked with toiletries, but being situated at the rear of the hotel could be a downside. The location is ideal right in the center of Mullingar town, though the presence of old rubbish and limited parking could be off-putting. The dining experience was lovely, particularly with the morning staff being really nice. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service amidst a central location.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with plenty of towels and a recently decorated comfortable bed. However, the noise from passing traffic can cause early wake-ups.
